Walter

Walter wants to join in on the adventures we go on

Walter has been our mascot since 2003 but for the last few years has been sat in retirement on the rafters in the SNAAP office. During the pandemic, he happily returned to work after realising he was missing all the fun and wants to join in on the adventures we go on. You can follow him on his Instagram page.

After living with Kerry during lockdown and having his very own show, The Adventures of Walter, he gained a new following of children (and their parents!) who love him and his naughty ways! He will continue to go on adventures with us and our SNAAP family.

Some of Our Services

Providing the help you need, when you need it the most

community

COMMUNITY SHARE

Due to generous donations from Morrison’s and The Hygiene Bank, as well as food surplus from Aldi, we are able to offer cupboard basics like soup, rice, pasta, baked beans and sauces as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. We also have toiletries and sanitary protection. We all need a helping hand from time to time so if a food parcel would help you and your family, we are happy to help, just contact us on 01227 367555/07842 127825.

Family Support

FAMILY SUPPORT

Our support service is designed to help provide practical advice and the emotional support we all need from time to time. So, if there is something you are struggling with that is causing you concern, make an appointment to speak with our Family Support Worker, Sarah Selby-Bird. She is also available at our drop-in sessions at Whitstable Umbrella Café (held the first Thursday of every month 9.30-11.30, check our Facebook page for up-to-date info) and SNAAP-EY’s and Stay & Play.

holiday activities

SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

During each school holiday we provide a range of activities for you to book onto. We use a booking system where you book and pay for activities online.

This link will also be emailed to all our families on our mailing list, as well as posted on our social media platforms.
